What we are often asked

Before you order.

How do these fit?

True to size, with a relaxed Mediterranean silhouette. The shirt sits a half-size oversized — wear it open or button it through, both work. The shorts fall just above the knee. If you are between sizes, our recommendation is to size down; the linen softens and gives a little with wear.

How should I care for the linen?

Cold gentle wash, inside out, with similar colors. Hang to dry in the shade — never tumble dry. Linen has a memory; the dryer is harder on it than the wear of a hundred summers. The print is reactive-dyed into the fibre, not applied on top, so it will not crack, fade, or peel.

Where is it made?

Cut and sewn in Guangzhou, in a small atelier that specializes in linen. The fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — tested for harmful substances and approved for direct skin contact. Every garment is washed, finished, and inspected before it leaves the workshop.

Is this a limited edition?

Yes. The Jaffa drop is the first chapter of the Grand Tour Collection, limited to 300 pieces. Once a size sells out, it will not be restocked. The next chapters — Athens, Cairo, Venice — arrive in their own seasons.

When will my order ship?

Orders ship within 5 business days of placement. Standard shipping is 7–14 business days to most destinations; express is 3–5. You will receive a tracking number within an hour of dispatch.

Can I return it?

Within 14 days of arrival, in original condition, with tags attached. We cover return shipping on exchanges. We are unable to refund items that have been washed, worn outside, or altered.

Chapter I

Drawn from the city itself.

Linen should remember where it came from. Ours carries the Old City — every wave, every arch, every stone that has stood through the long summer of years.

A few words from the founder

Why Casa Valenti?

I started Casa Valenti because the clothes I wanted to wear didn't exist — or, if they did, they were priced for people who already had everything.

This is a small house. Made with extreme care, Made slowly. Here is what we believe.

  1. The Place

Every garment carries a real city. Not a logo, not a print pulled from a stock library — an architectural drawing, made by hand, of a place we have actually walked. Jaffa first. Then Athens. The rest are a secret.

  2. The Cloth

We work in linen because linen is the cloth of the Mediterranean. We pre-wash it, so it never tightens. We finish it with French seams and coconut shell buttons — so the inside is as careful as the outside. This is how houses with hundred-year reputations make their clothes.

  3. The Time

A Casa Valenti shirt is meant to be worn for a decade. Linen softens with every wash. The print is dyed into the fibre, so it cannot crack or peel. We are making clothes that get better with time, not worse — in a season when most clothes are made to last six months.

  4. The Edition

Each city drop is limited to three hundred pieces. When a size sells, we do not restock. This is mostly because we believe that what is rare is worth more.
